Protein After Every Workout, Yes Or No?

I actually knew the answer to this discussion lesson today (unlike many many other days). Most people that work out in the gym just don’t exercise at an intensity level that warrants a protein drink afterward. This discussion also should include an in depth look into the individual goals of the athlete. Do you want to get bigger or smaller? Do you want to add muscle or slim down? There is no question that protein will add in muscle recovery, which yields more muscle but if this isn’t the goal why do it?
