The secret or not so secret secret is, how nasty they can be. The ironic thing is this documentary is of the UK chicken farms and plants. The slaughter houses and animal plants in the US are legendary for their vile, disgraceful conditions. One could only imagine this investigative report being done here. I remember stories being done on the news years ago about US slaughter houses and that the films were so bad, they couldn’t televise what the investigators had seen. It was too horrific for TV. This documentary goes more into the preservatives added to store meat versus actual meat from a butcher. It also covers that fact that sometimes you’re not even be getting what you think you are purchasing. Maybe not even the right meat?? This is an eye opening film and one of the reasons why I’m a proud vegetarian. Watch the film and get educated.
