Beach Workout For Those Still Suffering In The Cold

Posted in Full Body on the March 30, 2008

Leaving here in Chicago has it’s advantages and it’s challenges. One of the major challenges is the weather. This winter has been one of the longest, most trying winters in a long time. I find myself actually daydreaming of the times in the summer when I was able to do my outdoor beach exercises. Getting a tan, seeing the beautiful water and beach goers, as well as the workout (almost forgot that), was really a treat. For those who don’t have a beach workout, this will gladly give you some ideas on how to enjoy the beach and get a good workout going. Use what you need and think of other exercises that could be done. Don’t forget to use the sand as part of a resistance workout as well.

An Amazing Commercial Most Americans Haven’t Seen…

Watching Parkour is like watching the male equivalent to ballet. It is poetry in motion. The athleticism and raw courage of some of the feats baffle the minds of us mere mortals. But to watch the best at it in the world is a whole other treat. David Belle is known as one of the originators of this magnificent new sport, but words don’t do him any justice. You just have to see it to believe it. This commercial is just a taste of what this sport/culture has to offer. Watch and learn from the best.

Stevia (The SAFE Splenda/Aspartame Alternative)?

We all know that sugar is one of the most unhealthy items that in America particular, we over use. With that being said, the alternative sugar industry is a booming business. The thing is, with every new sugar substitute, they seems to come with a warning label that out weights the advantages of a low sugar diet. If it killed that lab rat, it will kill me too right? Well there is a product now that is becoming known called Stevia. This product is the talk of the health town and has many changing from the big alternative sugars to this. Has the sugar industry met it’s match? Possibly! I have yet to try this product, but the research I’m doing is producing some nice result. The only thing left to do is find it and try it. I will let you know how that goes. Be healthy.

At Street Workout, we focus on lots of different subcultures of working out. Of the many that we show, one of the most popular is the Martial Arts Fitness. It gets lots of feedback and captures the imagination of the viewer. I guess I wasn’t the only one that grew up watching Karate movies on Saturday mornings. This video however is not a Hollywood feature, but more like a fitness guide for martial art masters only. This video is very impressive. It features mostly bodyweight exercises but done with a martial arts flare. Who doesn’t want to see someone do push-ups on their thumbs? Well for those that do, enjoy this video, and tell us what you think.

With the introduction of the world wide web, home videos have become a staple of everyones normal viewing diet. Since the birth of Youtube, this obsession has even gone further. So to actually try and find the funniest video would be a mathematical feat that could only be solved by Einstein himself. This video however, I would argue would be somewhere in his equation. This video is a classic among classics. It is indescribable and unbelievable on so many levels. I will just let this one speak for itself. Laugh and enjoy.
