Muhammad Ali Full Training Regime 1974, Simply Amazing…
Posted in Full Body, Fitness Discussions on the April 13, 2008
To call Muhammad Ali an athlete is the equivalent to calling Picasso an nice sketcher or a decent doodler. Ali was so much more than just an athlete. Even very evident in this video, the charm and the boisterous attitude was as much a part of his workout routine as cardio and hitting the punching bags. His vibrato sometimes outweighed his talent at times, but amazingly, he always seem to somehow silence his critics with an undeniable victory. These videos are like watching a piece of vintage history and should be inspiring to any person on a path seeking greatness.

Ever since I was a little kid I loved watching him jump rope.
I recently purchased a jump rope and lets just say I’m no muhammad ali
lol.
Great read, thanks for the article and videos as well. I appreciate it.
Muhammad Ali is the reason why I’m into boxing
This article and video truly inspires people, I watch this video (or try) before a workout.
Everbody gotta give big respect to Muhammad Ali!
hey guys
who Ali was in top shape but mike tyson wouldve demolished him
To dman, respectfully, Mike Tyson never beat one single opponent that he wasn’t expected to beat. Mike never had any super-fights until the end of his career i.e. Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield. The only thing Mike did was knockout a bunch of mediocre boxers, which in turn made a bunch of fair-weather boxing fans that only wanted to see knockouts and blood. They forgot about the sport itself. Muhammad Ali was the perfect example of David vs. Goliath. He wasn’t the biggest, strongest fighter or the hardest puncher, yet his legacy in boxing is greater than boxing itself.
I have to say, I have went through rehab
for pain pill addiction and i always found joy in boxing now that I can stay dedicated to it ali really gives me the inspiration I need. He truly was a man of mind over matter. I mean he fought joe frazier a man that hits like a locomotive.
hey wats good wats poppin iight ill hit chu up in a sec
well, thats ridiculous, muhammad ali or mike tyson never reveleaed their program to public,
all what they say is jumping robe,
what the heck is wrong with so called people? horrible,
nice article, but they never showed their rotunie or program,
was sticky
Training knowledge has improved ,hence Olympic records that keep getting broken.Athletes today are bigger, faster, stronger.Ali and any old time boxer could of been alot better fighter if he was trained using todays methods including interval training (boxing is 70-80% anaerobic and 20-30% aerobic) instead of running 6 miles six mornings a week(aerobic),just do 1 day of 6 miles long slow distance(aerobic) and 2 days interval training (anaerobic)with one day of interval being hill relays.1 day rest between each run mon/wed/friday.Intervals consist of intense, sustained running for a set distance of time, eg: run a mile ,then 6 x 600 meter sprints with a minute rest inbetween, then finish with a light 800 meter jog. This would take care of all your needs aerobic, anaerobic, and leg strength. Also proven weight training methods that athletes in all codes realise gives them strength, size, muscle endurance, speed etc taylored to there sport. Like modern day sprinters physiques today they look like amateur body builders or todays grid iron players.Ali and frazier etc never did weights and they are proven methods among all olympic athletes.
