Blast Your Biceps Workout: Power Barbell Curls From Big Lee
One of the most sought after commodities in the male psyche, behind the everlasting pursuit of the fairer sex would have to be a pair of massive guns. No, I’m not referring to the guns that are loved by NRA members like a mother to a child, but the guns that bulge out of shirts that women do actually seem to love. That’s right, biceps. There are a tons of machines that claim to improve this favorite muscle of men yet none yield results that match old fashion hard work. However, with hard work does come the concept of working smarter and knowing some physiology. This video is exactly what many are looking for in their respective hunt for the perfect pair of biceps. Just the one small tip in this video will give many the ideals they need to understand that technique will produce results, not just heavy weight. Lee Hayward along with Dave Ruel let you see a personal workout that makes you understand why they are the professionals that they are. Enjoy the video, absorb the tip and try it. It may get you over those arms you dream about. Enjoy.

When your all done do this to cap it off…you will get results, its called the bicep blast and its common among bodybuilders.
get about a 50 lbs curling bar/weights. Have a clock handy or a watch. Do 10 strict slow curls. It will seem too easy. rest exactly 30 seconds, no more no less and repeat this for 4 sets. By the 4th, your biceps will be screaming…
His form changed between those two sets. Where’s the elbow factor in the second set?
Great post. Its true cause my husband has been working out and I love the change, especially his ‘guns’ haha.

Thanks for the tip! I’m going to try these out to see how effective they are. They look like they would get you bigger biceps much quicker than the standard sets.I like these because you can’t cheat, which means you will get a much more out of the routine. I could add a little bit more muscle to my biceps
I actually liked the technique he used and the way he explained it, and how he went back and forth with his buddy, very good =D

I was thinking of investing in a barbell but wasn’t sure what was a good one to get. Also how much weight to get. I am very light but I guess I have decent strength.
This is a good hardcore workout to take those guns to another level. Good job!!
Impressive post and nice tips. Well said why they are professionals, the explanations by them is really good.
Running shoes your post made no sense at all! haha
Awesome video too, man. I love the bald guy in the background doing no work at all!
I agree with your point, heavy weights are good, however, as long as you are using the correct form! Awesome blog btw. Glad I stumbled across it.
great technique, I’m going to have to give it a try next workout. Thanks for the tip.
no wonder this guy can lift heavier weight anyone could this guy is swingin the barbell towards him and not giving his biceps the work that they should be doing…. and another thing , whats with the back bent and leaning forward? .. your back always stays straight, knees slightly bent and feet shoulders width, keep elbows? tucked in at same position all the time(fact)! without swingin the barbell up it will actually be working the bicep muscle, really dont know what this guys about
yh that is right u can use? a little chetin even if u are swinging the heavy weight up the just lowerin it to gain a bit of strength
You don’t know what this guy is about? He is one of the few that provide BS-free workout tips without the influence of advertising or heavy product placement found on most websites or magazines. His tips are the real deal. And just like any workout, if you stick with the same textbook routine or form you will never see results. This variation is a way to mix things up, break a plateau and stimulate growth by hitting the biceps from a slightly different angle with more weight. I use the same form periodically for hammer curls and it works great - bent forward slightly with elbows back and squeeze.
I don’t think it’s cheating, just a different way to get it done.

It’s not a bicep day for me today but the next day I do my biceps I’m going to implement some of the tips listed in this video.
Nice workout, will be looking to try that out
