Well, whatever you are doing, you probably aren’t having as much fun working out as Mark from Mark’s Daily Apple.Com. What he is doing is exercising, but from the looks of the scenery and the people, it’s a dream day on the beach with a touch of added fitness. I have tons of sprint videos in my collection, but none look as enjoyable, relaxing, envigourating and satisfying as the one posted below. Along with the great instructions Mark offers on beach sprinting, this video just makes you think of every time you’ve ever gone to the beach and had a beautiful day. Then to add a level of fitness, a simple yet effective workout that only take 10-15 minutes, is more than anyone could ask, for a satisfying and purposeful day out. Try this before winter arrives. Enjoy.
This is a great question, but the answer matters more on the body area, be it upper, lower, front, or back. For the video we are discussing today, the dead lift is the best exercise for building a strong posterior chain. There isn’t a better workout for the lower back than the dead lift. It strengthens the core, back, thighs, hips, and the obliques. It is often overlooked due to the lack of visible muscles it produces, yet the benefits are unmeasurable. I personally had lower back issues but have almost cured this in strengthening this vital area in my body. Enjoy, and new guys, do this exercise!
Well, of course you know which one is relevant here. I actually believe that anyone carrying a backpack should have books in it and have a mind state of study, although this isn’t a bad alternative. This video features a great variation of the weighted vest. For those not in a position to purchase an exercise vest, one can always look in that old closet and find a dusty backpack. Fill it with some weights of some kind and go to work. The ways in which this can be utilized are limitless, so watch the video and use your imagination to come up with ideas on how this can benefit you.
Plyometrics is defined as an explosive element added to an exercise to gain an different or additional results. Why do you need it? You need it because it’s a technique of exercise used only in sports such as football, baseball, basketball, boxing, hockey, wrestling, martial arts, swimming, running, and soccer. There are a few more but I think you get the point. This video is an example of how the these elements can be utilized for greater more explosive power, especially on a big jump, swing, punch or run. Enjoy the video.
Do you? Well not trying to beat a dead horse (hate that term by the way), Parkour has become a lifestyle and culture in other countries. To watch these young people do this style of acrobatic running is almost like watching art being made before your eyes. Like I also stated before, there is an entire section dedicated to this on the main Street Workout Site, so go check that out. In the meantime, you can get a feel for Parkour by just watching these extreme exercises in preparation for the actual sport. This workout will remind many of their childhood and things you used to do. Well trying them now is a whole different reality, trust me. Some of this workout is a bit advanced and I couldn’t recommend trying it on your own, but other aspects of the workout are achievable. If nothing, watch the videos for entertainment purposes, they are worth it.
