Most people can, a few times, but probably not as well as this guy. This is truly the essence of Street Workout and what it stands for. This is a guy out in the park, taking full advantage of a beautiful really getting an extreme routine done. These dips are advanced, hell, these are more like acrobatic than anything. The strength level needed to perform these skills is tremendous. He get arms, stomach, shoulders, and strengthens his entire core. Street Workout is a viral video fitness website. It’s also become a supplement store, discussion forum, a blog, and a source of entertainment for many athletically inclined individuals that use their computer as a resource for health and fitness. Being all of that, I sometimes forget that this still is all about working out without the use of a gym and without weights. Bodyweight exercises. Plyometrics is defined as an explosive element added to an exercise to gain an different or additional results. Why do you need it? You need it because it’s a technique of exercise used only in sports such as football, baseball, basketball, boxing, hockey, wrestling, martial arts, swimming, running, and soccer. There are a few more but I think you get the point. This video is an example of how the these elements can be utilized for greater more explosive power, especially on a big jump, swing, punch or run. Do you? Well not trying to beat a dead horse (hate that term by the way), Parkour has become a lifestyle and culture in other countries. To watch these young people do this style of acrobatic running is almost like watching art being made before your eyes. Like I also stated before, there is an entire section dedicated to this on the main Street Workout Site, so go check that out. In the meantime, you can get a feel for Parkour by just watching these extreme exercises in preparation for the actual sport. This workout will remind many of their childhood and things you used to do. Well trying them now is a whole different reality, trust me. Some of this workout is a bit advanced and I couldn’t recommend trying it on your own, but other aspects of the workout are achievable. If nothing, watch the videos for entertainment purposes, they are worth it.
To not so simply answer the title question, yes and no. There really aren’t any secret exercises, but there are exercises that fitness professionals and bodybuilders use that you usually never see common folk utilize. And believe me, there are a ton of these exercises that go unnoticed and fly under the radar. The one I will be showing today is a shoulder workout. To prove my point that this is under the radar, this video is in German, sorry y’all. But, you can clearly see the motions used and the technique that is demonstrated.
