Is It As Fun Going Up As It Is Going Down?

Posted in Core Training, Leg Workouts, Introduction on the October 11, 2007

To answer this dangerous question generally, I would say no. Well first, get your mind out of the gutter. Second, considering the mix of a hill and some gravity, I would still say no, its more fun to go down. Going down a hill was a treat as a kid, whether it be by sled or by rolling, but running up a hill as an adult is a whole different concept. Most fitness ideals can be achieved by simple changes in things everyone did as a kid but simply updated to an adult level of activity. Hill running is an advanced level of core and leg development but the benefits are unmeasurable. This video below is a great example on how to do this challenging exercise with his own personal twist on it. Watch the video and give this a try. This 10-15 minute workout will benefit the entire body. Enjoy.

Do You Have Any Idea What You Are Doing?

Well do you? For the average person pursuing a more fit physique, the answer would be a resounding no. Technique often takes a Goodfella’s trunk ride (not even a back seat ride) to the numbers game. Ten sets of ten, or five set of eight, one more, two more, and stop. The question is how many of those did you actually get benefits from? With wrong technique, that number could be as low as zero. One trainer I know of, that you can always get proper technique from is a bodybuilder by the name of Lesie Magnum. His videos are some of the most technique strict, educational videos on the internet. I have featured him as a Featured Trainer of the Week on Street Workout and still have many of his videos up on my main site. Watch and learn people, you will see something new in this one.
