There are some incredible people in the world that fear really strange things. I thought I had heard of all the phobias that exist, until now. And the funny thing is that I know so many people that suffer from this syndrome. It is called Bigorexia (if this is a legitamate term because I couldn’t find it anywhere). This is where you fer that you are not muscular enough and don’t actually see yourself in your proper proportions. To be honest, as humans, we don’t see ourselves in complete fashion. We constantly say things like, “if I could loose this inch here or gain some muscle here”. So to some extent we are never satisfied, but the guy in this video takes this concept to a whole other level. Watch and learn. Also be a bit more excepting of your body type, but always work for improvement.

Yes and no. To have general fitness and to improve ones health, yes, a park workout will do you just fine. To take the body and your fitness to that next level, you will need to go to a gym or incorporate resistance at a greater force than your bodyweight. The thing is, there is so much you can do to workout at the park that it sometimes outweighs the positives of the gym. This video gives plenty of ideas on how to enjoy these summer days and get the most out of a quick park visit. Even those with tight schedules can manage a workout like this. Watch the video, get some ideas, and get to it!!

Is Subway the only real fast food of choice for those wanting to loose weight, not really. Although it is a better choice than much of what’s out there. You can get a good salad just about anywhere, but what about the allure of the fast food and the ever filling sandwich we all crave so much? Make your own, simple. The food you make will have exactly the ingredients for what your dietary needs are. This video does a great job in breaking this concept down in simple terms as far as does Subway really make you loose weight. The funniest thing is that no matter what the diet, supplement or weight lose machine being advertised as the new news, they almost always say “this will work along with a healthy diet and regular exercise”. If people exercised and ate well, they probably wouldn’t need the item thats being marketed to them. Right? Enjoy this humorous video and learn something as well.

To call Muhammad Ali an athlete is the equivalent to calling Picasso an nice sketcher or a decent doodler. Ali was so much more than just an athlete. Even very evident in this video, the charm and the boisterous attitude was as much a part of his workout routine as cardio and hitting the punching bags. His vibrato sometimes outweighed his talent at times, but amazingly, he always seem to somehow silence his critics with an undeniable victory. These videos are like watching a piece of vintage history and should be inspiring to any person on a path seeking greatness.

Leaving here in Chicago has it’s advantages and it’s challenges. One of the major challenges is the weather. This winter has been one of the longest, most trying winters in a long time. I find myself actually daydreaming of the times in the summer when I was able to do my outdoor beach exercises. Getting a tan, seeing the beautiful water and beach goers, as well as the workout (almost forgot that), was really a treat. For those who don’t have a beach workout, this will gladly give you some ideas on how to enjoy the beach and get a good workout going. Use what you need and think of other exercises that could be done. Don’t forget to use the sand as part of a resistance workout as well.

We all know that sugar is one of the most unhealthy items that in America particular, we over use. With that being said, the alternative sugar industry is a booming business. The thing is, with every new sugar substitute, they seems to come with a warning label that out weights the advantages of a low sugar diet. If it killed that lab rat, it will kill me too right? Well there is a product now that is becoming known called Stevia. This product is the talk of the health town and has many changing from the big alternative sugars to this. Has the sugar industry met it’s match? Possibly! I have yet to try this product, but the research I’m doing is producing some nice result. The only thing left to do is find it and try it. I will let you know how that goes. Be healthy.
